LATEST UPDATE ON PROCEDURES FOR BOARDING YOUR CATS AT CLUTHA CATTERY 28 AUGUST 2020
Since the general Covid 19 situation has gradually improved and moved on we can provide a further update on procedures. As a business we have been able to carry out social distancing during the past few weeks and months and are able to continue providing boarding for cats as before.
As things have eased further we have developed the following amended procedures. These are designed to ensure that we only have one visit at a time to support social distancing procedures for the following purposes:
An appointment must first be made for each of these visits to the cattery, by phone or e mail. Ad hoc visits will not be allowed until further notice.
We can now resume taking card payments when collecting your cats, we also accept online bank transfers which should be made the day before collection.
We ask all our visitors to respect social distancing and we have hand sanitisers situated around the cattery. We have instigated a disinfecting routine before and after visits. The wearing of face masks is required.
We hope the procedures we have set out here gives reassurance to owners that we can look after their cats without risk to either our customers or us by safely following social distancing procedures and wearing masks for as long as they are necessary.
With best wishes to everyone, keep safe and we look forward to seeing both our regular visitors and new customers. We currently still have some availability in September and for the rest of the year. Please note that for the first time since we opened in 2007 we will be giving our staff and ourselves a well earned rest over Christmas and will be closed from 24th December until 2nd January inclusive.

Clutha Cattery is set in a beautiful, peaceful rural area, away from noise and traffic but easily accessible from the main road. The cattery is situated along a quiet country lane within 13 acres of land, amid outstanding countryside with far reaching views, and boarding is provided exclusively for cats.
Sue and Paul have been running the cattery since May 2007, and have built up a wide customer base, not only from the local area but also from as far afield as London to the north and down to the coast in the south. As cat lovers themselves with three cats of their own, they have built up a reputation for providing the very best facilities and for going the extra mile when looking after the cats entrusted to their care.
We are always happy to show people around for a viewing, until further notice an appointment is necessary, so please phone or e mail us.
We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and for giving us such positive feedback about their cats' holidays with us. We have gained so much enjoyment and pleasure from looking after our feline guests and have got to know them and their owners well.
